Joana is a VP Creative Director with over 20 years of experience creating globally recognized work for iconic brands. Based in Chicago, she currently leads creative for Campbell’s, Walgreens, and Kellogg’s.
Before joining Leo Burnett, she spent several years at DAVID, growing from Art Director to Creative Director across the São Paulo and Miami offices, working on brands like Corona, Burger King, Coca-Cola, Netflix, and Danone. Her work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, The Andys, Clio, and Effies.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Joana began her career as a graphic designer and art curator before moving into advertising—a foundation that still shapes her approach to craft and storytelling.
